You should read Hamas charter and listen to Hamas leaders' interviews. It is some common racist trope about "Islamic jihad". None of the Palestinian resistance groups, Hamas included, are "Islamists". Islamists are those whom America, Britain and Israel trained for their own purposes - like the fake Syrian "government" today, the headchoppers who are now called "President", like ISIS, like Al Qaeda and other mercenary terror groups.
