Why are you cynically lying about every point? Faina is not a "young woman", she is a CHILD who has been living most of her life under Ukrainian junta' bombs. Hundreds of kids have been killed in Donbass. To deny the regime's genocide in Donbass is the same as denying Zionist genocide of Palestinians. You simply hope that people will be too lazy to check the facts. The 8 year assault by Kiev on Donbas. Is it genocide?

“[genocide is defined as any of five] "acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such." These five acts were: killing members of the group, causing them serious bodily or mental harm, imposing living conditions intended to destroy the group, preventing births, and forcibly transferring children out of the group. Victims are targeted because of their real or perceived membership of a group, not randomly.”

(United Nations Genocide Convention, 1948)

The Donbass region of eastern Ukraine, populated by a large number of ethnic Russians, did not recognize the coup government, whose first act was to outlaw the public use of the Russian language. They were dehumanized by neo nazi elements within the coup government.

So called “peace talks”, the Minsk Agreements (September 2014 and February 2015), were a sham. Remember that they were in place during the worst of Ukrainian atrocities against the pro-Russian population. And that the military sent there were foreign mercenaries and neo nazi units. All trained by the West.

This is important to remember:

Both agreements did not provide for the separation or independence of the Republics, but their autonomy within the framework of Ukraine.

The agreements clearly state that the status of the Republics was to be negotiated between Kiev and the representatives of the Republics, for an internal solution to the Ukraine.

…since 2014, Russia has systematically demanded their implementation while refusing to be a party to the negotiations, because it was an internal matter of Ukraine.

Kiev’s response was to bombard Donbas mercilessly for 8 years.

Two weeks after the assault on Donbas began, 2 May 2014 saw the mass murder of 48 pro-Russian protesters in Odessa when they were trapped in government buildings and burned alive by mainly far right groups. Among the victims was a pregnant woman who was strangled to death. People jumping from windows to escape the flames, if the impact didn’t kill them, were beaten to death.

Video evidence later showed that like the Maidan protests 3 months earlier, agents provocateurs were used to wind up the crowds.

(I highly recommend watching the video at the link below.)

The newly installed coup leaders had murdered over a hundred Ukrainians in a hundred days (outside of East Ukraine) to achieve their goals.

April 2014 to May 2016 saw the period with the largest death toll in East Ukraine. The vast majority of them were pro-Russian citizens.

“OHCHR estimates that between mid-April 2014 and 31 May 2016, at least 9,404 people, of which up to 2,000 are civilians, have been killed as a result of the conflict.”

https://www.ohchr.org/Documents/Countries/UA/OHCHRThematicReportUkraineJan2014-May2016_EN.pdf

By February 2019 “some 13,000 people have been killed, a quarter of them civilians, and as many as 30,000 wounded in the war in eastern Ukraine since it broke out in April 2014..”

The estimated toll includes more than 3,300 civilian deaths, the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) said in a document dated February 25..

The estimated death toll also includes 4,000 members of Ukrainian forces and 5,500 "armed groups," the OHCHR document said.

Around another 1000 have been killed over the next three years bringing the total to 14,000.

But these statistics don’t tell the full story.

In October 2018, after four years of war, the chief Ukrainian military prosecutor, Anatoly Matios, stated that Ukraine had lost 2,700 men in the Donbass: 891 from illnesses, 318 from road accidents, 177 from other accidents, 175 from poisonings (alcohol, drugs), 172 from careless handling of weapons, 101 from breaches of security regulations, 228 from murders and 615 from suicides.

[Note: the total of Ukrainian military killed by February 2019 was around 4000. How many were actually killed in combat compared to the 3300 Donbas civilians and 5500 (alleged) pro-Russian “combatants” by that date??

“more than 80% of the victims in Donbass were the result of the Ukrainian army’s shelling. For years, the West remained silent about the massacre of Russian-speaking Ukrainians by the government of Kiev, without ever trying to bring pressure on Kiev.

It was a one-way slaughterhouse no matter how much this was labeled a “war”.

But even the “228 from murders” figure. What does that actually mean? I had thought that they were referring to combat deaths until I read the 2016 OHCHR report that preceded these figures by two years:

“OHCHR is concerned that some deaths – such as those of servicemen who were whistle-blowers regarding misdeeds of Ukrainian forces in the conflict zone (corruption and looting) – have been investigated ineffectively.”

Torture

Symptomatic of far right coups, as has been shown throughout the twentieth century under the banner of “anticommunism”, is the sociopathic cruelty inflicted on a dehumanized target population through torture.

“An overwhelming majority of prisoners held by the Ukrainian side are brutally and systematically beaten.”

“The prisoners were electrocuted, beaten cruelly and for multiple days in a row with different objects (iron bars, baseball bats, sticks, rifle butts, bayonet knives, rubber batons).

Techniques widely used by the Ukrainian armed forces and security forces include waterboarding, strangling with a ‘Banderist garrotte’ and other types of strangling.

In some cases prisoners, for the purposes of intimidation, were sent to minefields and run over with military vehicles, which led to their death.

Other torture methods used by the Ukrainian armed forces and security forces include bone-crushing, stabbing and cutting with a knife, branding with red-hot objects, shooting different body parts with small arms.

The prisoners taken captive by the Ukrainian armed forces and security forces are kept for days at freezing temperatures, with no access to food or medical assistance, and are often forced to take psychotropic substances that cause agony.

[Note: the following is VERY important:]

An absolute majority of prisoners are put through mock firing squads and suffer death and rape threats to their families.

Many of those tortured are not members of the self-defense forces of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR)”

“The information collected by the Foundation for Democracy Studies gives grounds to believe that the Ukrainian armed forces (VSU), the National Guard and other military units of the Ministry of the Interior of Ukraine, as well as the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) systematically and on purpose violate Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights that reads, ‘No one shall be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.’

[Note: this is the modern day European/Gladio version of the School of the Americas which trained sociopathic, supremacist military commanders that terrorized Latin America for decades.

Even human rights activists within Ukraine have been condemning the lack of action taken against these extremists terrorizing fellow Ukrainians.

Conclusion

A bit of perspective is needed here. Just over 25 years of war in the north of Ireland lead to around 3200 deaths total. In Palestine, 10,344 Palestinians and 1,300 Israelis have been killed since 2000 (22 years). In Donbas, from March 2014 until February 2022, at least 14,000 have been killed.

That is, over an eight year period, the number of people killed in East Ukraine roughly matched the number of deaths in Palestine and the north of Ireland COMBINED over less than HALF the time period. And it went unreported in the mainstream media. THIS is why I completely reject the mainstream media as a source for anything.

NATO/Kiev unleashed neo nazis and mercenaries on civilians in East Ukraine. More than 80% of the victims in Donbass were the result of the Ukrainian army’s shelling. Just over 200 Ukrainian military died compared to 5500 Donbas “combatants” and 3300 civilians. The rest of the Ukrainian military number of fatalities were made up of accidents, suicide, illness and murdering their own number to cover up looting, war crimes and rape.

Civilians, the majority, were subjected to WW2/Latin American junta era torture, degradation and assassination.

In what other site in the world have we been hearing these statistics?

If the people slapping their keyboards lately condemning Russian actions had actually said ANYTHING about what was going on in Donbas these past EIGHT YEARS, or at least acknowledge what is now coming to light, maybe they’d have a point. And not appear triggered by the same mainstream media they CLAIM to reject.

A reminder…genocide is defined as “acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group, as such." These five acts were: killing members of the group, causing them serious bodily or mental harm, imposing living conditions intended to destroy the group.

Three of the five conditions were met in Donbas. And Kiev had no intention of stopping before hostilities began.
