The goal is total chaos and total war. Without war, Israel makes no sense. This is a paradox. Zionism makes no sense in times of peace and without claiming to be "surrounded by enemies". At the same time, it cannot be sustained as an enclave of aggression and sadism. Israel is one giant army of aggressive pathologically paranoid and extremely sadist, humanity-hating soldiers (actual, former, future, reservists and wish-to-be, settlers with machine guns and knives, roaming around like serial killers at large) who all imagine themselves to be under some ongoing existential threat. Israel cannot exist otherwise. But such "state" is clearly not sustainable. They just killed a peace envoy Haniyeh - and keep calling him "terrorist". Peace is a threat to Israelis because they won't know what to do and what to exist for. But the war that they are igniting, will be their undoing. The combination of greed (of cosmic proportions), paranoia, pathological self-absorption and gleeful sadism towards human beings is a destructive combination. Just hoping that they will not erase the whole humanity in this process of self-destruction.
