The banality of evil

This “story” is very short.

I posted a response to a guy on Medium who accused historians of antisemitism and hatred of Jews because they spoke about Rothschild and his financial schemes.

I told this guy that if criticizing Rothschild means for him hatred of Jews, then in his opinion this is what real Jews are, which makes him a real antisemite.

What did he say in response?

How can we stop hate speech on Medium?

Who is Stephen Shaiken? A deranged extremist, a Kahanist?

No… a “criminal lawyer”… I guess to fight against this individual will be also “antisemitic”.

Just to remember: hate speech is not just something we don’t like or something that triggers some traumatic response. It is verbal abuse done with an intent to hurt.
