Palestinians are not "distinct from Arabs", like Nigerian or Congolese people are not distinct from "Africans", it is just racist and humiliating to call them "Arabs" as nobody calls just "Arabs" Iraqis, Moroccans, Algerians, Egyptians or Lebanese. Why only Palestinians should be called "Arabs"? An Arab is a race. It is not an ethnicity or a nationality. It is the same as calling Chinese "Asians" or Russians "Slavs".
