“If Christ is not risen, your faith is void!”(1 Cor 15: 17).
Christ is risen… He really did. I greet you this morning with this glorious Easter greeting. Two words with many and deep meanings. A fact that changed existence and tipped the scales. The resurrection of Christ is the decisive event in the history of mankind, its destiny. And for us as Christians, if Christ had not risen, our faith would have been void — did we understand this phrase Are we aware of her strength Importance
The title of my sermon today is: if Christ had not risen…
If Christ had not risen — everything would have ended with him.
We are not exaggerating if we say that without the resurrection there would not be what we know today as Christianity. It all would have ended with the execution of Christ. We would probably read in history books about a person who claimed to be the Messiah, taught Semitic teachings and was destined to die. If Christ had not risen, Peter would have returned to hunting, Matthew to collecting, and the jealous Simon to the path…
