Chaim Weizmann said in 1918, arguing for The Jewish State for Jews only, against the propositions of a one state with equal rights for all:

“[The democratic principle] does not take into account the fact that there is a fundamental qualitative difference between Jew and Arab.”

That says it all, who Zionists are. That also refutes the myth that The Jewish State for Jews can be "democratic" or aspires to be such.
Zionism was created on the basis of race science, hierarchy of human races and civilizations sulremacism of the White Race. It has adopted the profoundly racist concept that Jews are a race (that was the basis for Holocaust and antisemitism) and as a race must be separated from non-Jews forever into a made-up "biblical homeland".
Whoever lived and lives in that "chosen land", never mattered for Zionists. They were never seen as equally human. First it was "kosher" to say that they are inferior race, when race hierarchy became non-kosher, they were simply rebranded as "terrorists" to further justify cleansing the land for imported Jews.
For those who identify themselves as Jews, to join Zionism is as shameful and immoral as for white people to join KKK or neo-Nazi groups.
