Ashley, one must understand that this regime will never engage in any peace negotiations. They were chosen, trained and financed in order to continue the war until Russia falls (which means forever). This regime is cocaine-ridden, uses psychotropic drugs. Ukrainian "leaders" have gotten millions of dollars, villas in Miami, Switzerland and Israel, land and assets in Europe precisely for doing this war. One must be insane to believe that it is possible to reach peace, preserving this regime at the same time. It is like asking Wehrmacht to negotiate peace with the Soviet Union, blaming Soviet Union for the "war". Ukrainian regime, like Georgian regime, invaded Russia first, by sending terrorists and saboteurs to Crimea, to torment local civilians. It has engaged in the war of ethno-political cleansing in Donbass since 2014 - murdering civilians who did not agree to start hating Russia, who have mixed families, speak Russian, have never viewed Russia as a "foreign country" and refused to be dependent on the junta and Western hegemony. There is no way to believe that Russian Army "invaded" Ukrainian Army. It is unheard of that an army invades another army. Russia never ambushed Ukraine as a civilian territory, as Ukrainian regime did to Donbass and constantly attempts to seize Crimea, exterminating its non-submissive population. What hypocrisy to ask for "peace" in these conditions.
